LUAIDH (Scottish Gaelic for Loved One) is a 5 piece OOAK fashion for Tonner’s Antoinette sized dolls and was inspired by the popular book and television series Outlander. The ensemble features pieces updated for the modern doll which can be mixed with her regular 21st century wardrobe.

A fully lined floor length skirt with side pockets and an off-centre front slit was created from umber brown tweed. It closes in the back with a metallic snap and is highlighted by an ultra-suede belt with gold-tone buckle.

The burnished gold faux (china) silk top features bell sleeves, sweetheart neckline, and tiny gold-toned bead buttons in the front. It is fully lined and closes in the back with buttons over snaps.

Reminiscent of an 18th century waistcoat, the lined vest has been designed with dark chocolate cotton embellished with a gold leaf pattern. The gold toned broach is not removable.

And, of course, the most familiar “Sassenach” homage to Outlander is the chunky charcoal grey hand knit cowl.
